God bless good cooking! -j

...since I've no time to be A saint by doing lovely things, or watching with Thee late , Or dreaming in the dawn-light, or storming Heaven's gates, Make me a saint by getting meals and washing up the plates. Although I must have Martha's hands, I have a Mary mind, And when I black the boots and shoes, Thy sandals, Lord, I find. I think of how they trod the earth, what time I scrub the floor: Accept this meditation, Lord, I haven't time for more. Warm all the kitchen with Thy love, and light it with Thy peace; Forgive me all my worrying, and make my grumbling cease. Thou who didst love to give men food, in room or by the sea, Accept this service that I do -- I do it unto Thee.

Remember Dearling,
Even the great monks and spiritual leaders down the centuries did not necessarily know how great or small their contribution would be. They knew only that they were called and that it would be difficult.
The greatest thing you do is to honor your commitment. By that simple act, with its complex ramifications you transcend. You live the example. You teach by being.
We see you.
We honor you.

There is nothing like the faces of children.
And of anyone in a moment of spiritual discovery!
These are great. Thanks for putting them out there...

Dear Dyron.
I was recently thinking of the oft used phrase phrase "keeping it real."
I think I may experiment with replacing the word "real" with "sacred" for a while in thought and in conversation-- and suggest it to others as the opportunity permits. This for no other reason that to raise awareness of the sacred in daily life; which I agree is essential. I believe that such awareness... and honoring the sacred, would automatically, effortlessly attune the spirit.
An enviable goal for any person, group or society.

Thank you for pointing it out, Dyron.

Follow your own path, loved one.
Balance with find YOU...!
I understand about lonliess and sympathize.
Friends and family can help with general solitude and feelings of isolation, but it is joyful to have a supporting friend on your road with you who understands your journey because they are on a similar one. I wish my Godfather Bishop Thompson (I call him the warrior priest!) were still alive. He'd have adored you. He also knew many, many people in every walk of spritual life and might have been able to put you in touch with some folks. If you wish, I can reach outto some of his old collegues on your behalf. Just let me know. We are The People. We must also try our best to support The People's Monk.

Each Circle becomes its own living link in a connecting chain that goes on and on...
I leave feeling a palm on either side holding mine-- and the sense of a universe that supports me rather than thwarts me.

Thank you , Dyron.
What a wonderful experience exploring the many paths from Darkness to Light. It was a journey that I think touched everyone in the room. It was humbling to have my work be a part of it.
Apologies that I forgot to leave my donation before I left! However, I made it just now online. I hope we can talk soon about future Circles and finding new ways to bring the Monastery ever closer to the People.

Best love always,
